The Weight In The Room is a collection of short stories of fantasy and fiction.
These tales range from describing the purpose of the universe, to the rantings of a cold hearted man, to the education of a group of angels. Each tale moves quickly through character interactions and drama, ending with a light twist devised to challenge the understanding of yourself. The weight in the room is not the heavy couch in the living room, the large cabinet in the hall or the long dining room table. The weight is the thoughts that each of us brings into the room like unwanted party crashers. These thoughts are encased in steel containers that shelter the most valued ideas we hold in our minds, protecting them from the ravages of change and defamation. These stories expose the elements that make up those containers; mainly fear, greed and selfishness. They expose the ideas to the source of our delusions.
